My Philosophy

I believe women are strong.

I believe partners can be the anchor in the storm.

I believe families are invaluable.

I believe the Lord provides immeasurable peace and strength.

I believe in making any birthing space into a nest of love to welcome your little one.

I believe that babies are a gift, and that your journey into parenthood should be the best day of your life.

My Story
My Training

Before I was pregnant with my daughter Wren, I knew practically nothing about birth. I just knew it would be painful and scary, and I wanted all the drugs I could have. Throughout my pregnancy journey, I researched. A ton. I learned that often the truth is completely opposite of what we are told by society, and I became empowered. My husband Fabian (my rock, my hero, my anchor) and I attended a natural child birth class (Birth Boot Camp) and went to my amazing chiropractor several times a week (Restoring Life Chiropractic). I was as prepared as I could be, and my doula helped me think through and plan exactly how I wanted my birth to go. Of course, it didn’t go exactly according to my plan, because birth is organic and baby’s have their own plans, but it was a beautiful and memorable experience that I am proud to share. I was able to have a natural water birth in a hospital setting, because I was prepared and had an amazing team, especially my husband, mom, and doula. This ignited my passion to help others achieve their own empowered birth - because every woman can be a warrior mama!
